The world is yours. This website is called committed to creating because with this attitude you can accomplish anything you want. When you choose what you want and you stick to that goal until it is done there is no way you can fail. Being committed means you cannot change your goal that you are wanting to reach it. If you keep changing goals you will never reach one. Reaching goals is all about the process, and sometimes things will come if you just let things take its course. In yogic society they have a saying that if you have one eye on where you are going and one eye on the path you will never find your way. You need both eyes to find your way, and you cannot end where you want to end if you keep changing direction. Do not worry about the end goal if you just pay attention to you path you are headed you will end up somewhere far greater than you would expect. As for the creating… everything you can ever imagine.. every path you could ever take already exists in the form of energy… our minds have to power to get in touch with these dimensions of energy but negative thoughts are what sway these mental processes away from the direction you are trying to travel. If you can trust your self and your mind, and do not let negative thoughts hinder you from reaching your goal, there is no doubt that you will reach that goal. Anything is possible if you stick to it long enough. I bless all who stick to what they want, but make sure it is what you really want. Use you imagination to create the situation you want, and do not let anyone tell you it is not possible because it is possible. “There are people who think it will work, and people who think it won’t work; both are right.” -Henry Ford

Can you delve deeper into this? I am correlating it with a religious quote kind of goes like this : one of your legs is god, the other is free will. You cannot walk unless you rely on both”
I’m playing devils advocate here, but isn’t the point of working towards a goal to enjoy the process…is that not what keeping an eye on your path means? Because when I’m hiking, or riding my bike, or simply walking I am never just looking straight ahead. I am getting lost in the beauty that’s around me while I’m on my way. My art stems from slowing down and watching your path. If I was only focused on getting to the top of the mountain or reaching any destination for that matter, I wouldn’t be taking in every simple pleasure that Mother Earth has to offer me on the way. Whether that be flowers, bugs, raindrops, people, smells, etc.
idk I’m rambling at this point, but what do you think?

The saying is a repute to the popular phrase “keep your eye on the prize.” Which is not actually true. If you think about hiking from one place to another and you head straight for the desired destination you could become blocked by a boulder or fall off a cliff. Paying attention to the lay of the land like you said you do may show you that you could take an indirect route which is how most processes normally are. If you want to be manager of a company you don’t head straight for that position you show you can be accountable, be a leader, and many other things. (It’s an indirect path is what I’m saying.) The bugs and flowers are just ways to enjoy the journey which is an intelligent thing to do but there are people do not enjoy the journey they just want to get where they are heading. I believe I wrote another post about “enjoying the process.” So the moral of the story is, if you for example want to be a painter don’t worry about gaining the title, just paint. Put your everything into painting any you will get where you were going (and maybe even further) because you paid attention to where you were going instead of where you want to be.

I mean, I understand what you’re saying about staying focused on one specific goal so that you’re not distracted by a bunch of other paths you could’ve taken. Or not having the confidence to pursue one specific thing so you dance around and half ass a bunch of things.
But my first thought was, no wait, you have to keep your eyes on both.

You can’t keep your eyes on both, unless your a chameleon. You have to watch your path more than 95% of the time but you do have to check every once in a while to see if you’re still heading in the desired direction. The more you watch your path the more successful you will be on your journey and also more prepared when you arrive at your destination.
