Stay Focused

Focus is, I would say, the most powerful tool a human can have. It is our job to make our attention as unwavering as possible. Where attention goes, energy flows. What we focus on is what we get. When you think of all the things you are grateful for, you will always get more things to be grateful for. Consciously placing your attention where you want is not always an easy thing. If you think about loving relationships you will get loving relationships, if you think about negative people you will get negative people. In this day and age we are bombarded with all sorts of distractions that are not meant to serve us. Television, music, and social media are mostly full of low vibrational things that are not meant to raise you up to your potential or give you a deep inner sense of satisfaction. These pleasures are only skin deep. If you go back to the saying: “We become what we think about.” Do you think media gives people good thoughts? I see loads of drugs, death, violence, and all sorts rubbish on 90% of television, while in most music it is the same thing. This is not meant to be an indictment of mainstream media; I am trying to elaborate on how big of a distraction mainstream media actually is. Place your attention on a brighter world and be careful what you surround yourself with. Keep on task. Do your own thing. Without focus, how will you ever get good at anything? How would you ever achieve anything? Never doubt yourself because fear is another distraction that people don’t see a such. If your attention is on possible failure, you are not focused. What may happen is none of our concern because nature will decide these things. Our job is just to strive for what we want, and keep our attention on that. Stay focused. “Nishchalatattve jeevanmukti.” (I don’t expect anyone reading this to know how to say this) This is an Indian saying that means “For one who is unwavering in his intentions, liberation cannot be denied.” Failure is impossible. All you have to do is focus.

Never Give Up

For one who is unwavering in his intention, liberation cannot be denied. With a certain amount of attention and focus, failure is impossible. Mind over matter; the human brain is literally warping reality, constantly. We live in a vibrational universe, everything has a vibration and frequency. The higher you make your frequency, the more influence you have on your reality. If you are at a high frequency you are but not limited to having a deep sense of relaxation, happiness, motivation, creativity, vitality, helpfulness, friendliness, love, and gratitude. Staying in these states is beneficial because once you get a momentum going it is extremely strong. Likewise, the opposite is also true. When you get in a momentum of negative emotion it can be hard to turn it around. This momentum could have been building in your life for months or even years but there is good news! It is scientifically proven that positive thoughts are significantly higher of a frequency than negative thoughts. In short, positive thoughts are stronger, so you don’t have to worry so much about being in a bad mood, you could easily reverse the direction of you life given time to shift the “momentum.” It is said that attitude is the most important word in the world in any language, because it is our attitude towards life and everything in it that will reflect life’s attitude toward us. Successful people do not have a good attitude because they are successful; They are successful because they have a good attitude. Never give up. If you are on the right track and stop, you could have been close to success and never even know it. There is a story about the man digging for gold and quit 5 feet before one of the worlds largest gold deposits. Life is just like that you never know when you are 5 feet from gold. Anything is possible for you when you decide to expand your awareness and take the steps necessary. For one who has hope, anything is possible. Hope will never abandon you, only you can abandon it. Always remember, to just try one more time.

Keep Building

We tend to want things right now, when they are convenient for us. For example, people want to be rich without putting in any work. That sounds great but the problem is it is not sustainable. You might have seen this happen because some people are merely born into money or married into money but people who do not have knowledge of how to earn and raise wealth will never be able to keep it. This goes for a lot of things in life, the faster you get something the faster it will go away. Rome was not built in a day, and it did not fall in a day. If it was built in a day, it would have fell just as fast. If you want better physical health, you have to know how to be healthy. If you want to be joyful you have to know how to be joyful. This goes for everything. I knew a couple who came into money through a lawsuit. They received a million dollars, maybe more. They bought a half million dollar house in the country, bought a bar in town, and spent the rest on material things that did them no good. Today, they are broke. They no longer own the house or the bar. They simply didn’t know how to be wealthy, therefore they will never be able to keep their wealth. Keep building, and be patient. A sturdy foundation is the basis of any structure, if not it will all just crumble. Just focus on the day to day process and never give up because when you become that person on the inside, your life will become that way as well.

Purpose of Life

It seems to be natural for a human being to want to make things complicated. Making things complicated is sometimes mistaken for a sign of intelligence, but it is actually more intelligent to make things simple, isn’t it? Carl Jung once said that “the simple things in life are the hardest to do, that is why people don’t do them.” We want to be rich, famous, loved by all.. everything are ego wants. Ego wants to be the best, and greatest. Ego will always want more, and will also make you feel like you are separate from the rest of the world. In reality we are all connected and what affects one of us affects the rest of us. It is important to help the people and environment around you as a way to help yourself. Which brings me to the first fundamental principle of life: Help yourself so that you can help others. Since you are born with nothing and will die with nothing, there is only really one thing you can actually do while you are here; Give yourself to others. A reported asked Albert Einstein in a interview, “What is the purpose of life? Why are we here?” Einstein replied, “I am simply here to serve other men.” That is the purpose of life, to serve each other. Giving is simply human nature. For example, the little girl who takes pleasure in helping her mom set the table. This is who we are before we learn to fear the ridicule of others. Ego will make your purpose much more confusing, you want to do something cool that everyone will like, instead of what is needed. Earl Nightingale is a huge advocate for the fact that, our success can only be attained by our service to others and that our success will depend upon the success of the people around us. We need to be grateful, loving, ENTHUSIASTIC, and supportive human beings. Learn so you can teach, want for others what you want for yourself, and never stop giving. Keep you life simple, This is how you can HELP YOURSELF, SO YOU CAN HELP OTHERS. “The less you are, the more you receive.” -Jagadish Vasudev, a.k.a. Sadhguru.

Work joyfully

I talk a lot about getting what you want, dreaming big, and achieving goals. Improving our lives is awesome but is depicted as a dreadful process. “Work hard,” we’ve all heard that before, but the universe does not “work hard.” Everything beautiful in the universe happens effortlessly, the grass, the clouds, and even procreation. The universe does nothing and leaves nothing undone. Your life should be the same way: relaxed, focused, and free from stress and worry. You will get to where you are going either way so we might as well do it joyfully. Know that you are capable. Know that you can trust yourself and the circumstances around you. Sometimes the biggest part of life is letting things unfold; You do not actually have to DO anything. Let’s really enjoy our time here. You don’t need to take it so seriously. Trust me, add a sense of playfulness to your work routines. Work joyfully.
