Endless Possibilities…

As far as your imagination can go life can surely take you there. Imagination is everything. Anything made by man that you see in this world first took place in another world.. the world of human imagination. Imagination is what takes us from one goal to the next, from idea to idea. When we reach our goals it is our imagination that leads us to the next one and so on. Imagination is often what will make or break our success. When I was a child I remember somebody told me that “you cannot do anything if you cannot picture yourself doing it.” These words stuck with me for a very long time, and they helped me in all areas of life. Here’s an example of this, while skateboarding I would watch other riders basically throw themselves down obstacles over and over again attempting to land the trick they were trying. Not thinking much about landing the trick, just mindlessly trying. Now this is what I would normally do too but, having learned this little piece of advice, I began to picture my self landing whatever trick I was about to attempt before attempting it, and for the most part it worked. I would land more tricks much faster with far fewer injuries. Of course in this situation there is some fear of getting hurt, so it would be a mental battle, visions of me falling would pop into my head seemingly out of no where. but what do you think the other skaters were doing? Were they picturing themselves falling or landing??.. Probably falling. And this is just a small example of the power of our minds. As far as your aspirations.. whatever your mind can create your body will surely follow. Whatever goal you have or whatever your dreams are can surely manifest into a reality just by you being committed to the process. You can be whoever you want to be and do whatever you want to do. Just remember this.. We become what we think about [most of the time.]
