The Law of Attraction is based on the phenomena that your mind will bring to you whatever it is imagining. I have learned the past couple years that you can literally get things by not even physically trying. If your desire is strong enough and you keep focused on that particular thing or experience, life will just hand it to you. I first began my journey into the metaphysical by realizing that “we are what we think about.” After months of directing my mind to become something I was not prior (previously relying on my unconscious thought patterns instead of consciously making them,) I decided one day that if I can decide who I am as a whole maybe I can decide who I am in a moments time. All day long I would be saying affirmations in my head of things I wanted to be and I would rarely repeat myself; constantly using my imagination to think and become who I want to be in all areas of life. “I am positive, I am calm, I am relaxed, I am strong, I am confident, etc.” these were my thought patterns consistently throughout a day in every waking minute. I began to literally become all of these things and after the thoughts set in I would have new thoughts. “I am smart, I am loving, I am helpful, I am giving.” One day, after I had decided that this stuff is the real deal and my brain was so focused and committed it was like nothing could stop it from attaining what it created, so I used it on a simple experience. “I am awake, I am happy, I am the guy who walks to the front of class says these three words, makes everybody laugh then walks out of class early as I turn in my paper.” and my vision worked in that instant, exactly as I predicted. I continued to use this method time and time again. Most of my situations seemed to be completely controlled by my mind, I would focus on how I want a situation to occur and it would. Conversations would go exactly as I planned them to and I would manifest people and things exactly how I wanted them. The power of your mind is remarkable, and we are all using the law of attraction constantly. Few use it consciously while most are unaware, or reject the fact, it even exists. If you watch for it, you will find it… and just like any skill, practice makes perfect. (to be continued…)
