In an earlier post I wrote about law of attraction and how you don’t actually have to physically do anything to get or become something if your mind is focused on it for a certain period of time. We all have the ability to get, be, or do anything we want, in fact we are doing it right now believe it or not. Subconsciously we are headed in a direction that we have decided to go in, whether we will admit that we decided to go in that direction or not is another story, but deep in the subconscious are beliefs that help or hinder us in the direction of our choosing. These beliefs can block you from the path you are really wanting, and can shift you down a path that is not actually what you want, it is more of a compromise. Physical set backs are just that – set backs – but whether we use them to create the idea that we can or can’t do something isn’t their choosing; That is our decision. If we all understand that the only thing holding us back from our dreams is ourselves then let yourself go because YOU are the only thing stopping YOU. “Failure is impossible.” – Susan B. Anthony

Forget About It
I have came to have the realization that life consists of two parts. The first part of life is gathering a bunch of false information about life, and the second part is overriding and replacing that information. As a child we are lead to believe certain things to be true. The ironic part about life is that, for most things, if we believe them to be true they will become true in our own experience. The man tells the boy, “Life is wonderful gift full of love and opportunity. People are helpful and giving in your journey.” That boy will grow up a joyful, caring, and successful human being. On the other hand, if the man tells the boy “Life is hard and everyone is nasty and out to get you.” That boy will grow up with a nasty and lonely life. Another example is bad relationships. We get our first girlfriend or boyfriend, it ends in heart break, and we carry those bad memories into the next relationship thinking that they will do what the others have did. This is crippling to peoples lives. There are things, like gravity, that are definite, whether you believe it or not, it will always be there. Other things in life are a decision, like “I can’t do it.” or “Nobody likes me.” Whether you say you can do it or you can’t do it, you’re right. Another funny example is, “That dog is going to bite me!” When the dog sensed the fear he decided to bite you, otherwise he could have found you as friend and left you unharmed. You, once again, decided the dog would bite you before he decided and he granted you your wish to be bitten. The moral of the story is, forget everything you have learned. All your ideologies, philosophies, and conclusions, completely erase them from your mind and act like every situation is the first time you have been in that situation with a childlike simplicity, you could make magic happen. You should feel blessed, feel loved, and feel confident because you will become that. Look at life with an awe of wonder and unknowingness (I just made that word up.) Pretend everyday is the first day of your life. Your life is what you make it and we should all make it something beautiful and worth living. We have the option, you just have to decide how yours is.
Law of Attraction
The Law of Attraction is based on the phenomena that your mind will bring to you whatever it is imagining. I have learned the past couple years that you can literally get things by not even physically trying. If your desire is strong enough and you keep focused on that particular thing or experience, life will just hand it to you. I first began my journey into the metaphysical by realizing that “we are what we think about.” After months of directing my mind to become something I was not prior (previously relying on my unconscious thought patterns instead of consciously making them,) I decided one day that if I can decide who I am as a whole maybe I can decide who I am in a moments time. All day long I would be saying affirmations in my head of things I wanted to be and I would rarely repeat myself; constantly using my imagination to think and become who I want to be in all areas of life. “I am positive, I am calm, I am relaxed, I am strong, I am confident, etc.” these were my thought patterns consistently throughout a day in every waking minute. I began to literally become all of these things and after the thoughts set in I would have new thoughts. “I am smart, I am loving, I am helpful, I am giving.” One day, after I had decided that this stuff is the real deal and my brain was so focused and committed it was like nothing could stop it from attaining what it created, so I used it on a simple experience. “I am awake, I am happy, I am the guy who walks to the front of class says these three words, makes everybody laugh then walks out of class early as I turn in my paper.” and my vision worked in that instant, exactly as I predicted. I continued to use this method time and time again. Most of my situations seemed to be completely controlled by my mind, I would focus on how I want a situation to occur and it would. Conversations would go exactly as I planned them to and I would manifest people and things exactly how I wanted them. The power of your mind is remarkable, and we are all using the law of attraction constantly. Few use it consciously while most are unaware, or reject the fact, it even exists. If you watch for it, you will find it… and just like any skill, practice makes perfect. (to be continued…)
Here to serve…
Most people don’t realize that success does not come from people doing things for you, it is about what you are doing for other people. To serve the customer is the most important part of any success story, the customer, not the company, is the one who writes your pay check and same goes with the rest of the world. You don’t get something for nothing. Most people worry about how they are going to GET, but if all you do is worry about how you are going to GIVE, honestly, you will receive a whole lot more. One day an interviewer asked Albert Einstein the great question why do we exist, he replied, man exists purely to serve other men. And that is why we are here, to serve each other… As you give so shall you receive, that is what the bible says. The best part is you always receive more than you put in.
Believe in Yourself
Seek and you shall find. If you think you can, you better believe YOU WILL. We all have the god-like ability to achieve whatever we want. If it’s in the realms of reality you can accomplish and acquire whatever you desire. Commit yourself to it. Throw yourself into it, believe you can do it and imagine how you want it. Just tell your brain what you want and it will give it to you. There’s nothing to it but to do it, but you have to do it, that is the only problem… You have to do it, but we all have the ability. Your brain has the capability to give you whatever you want, but you have to tell it what you do want, not what you don’t want. So what is it you really want?
Communication
The most over looked skill I have ever had the honor to learn the hard way. Communication is what will keep your relationship, your ideas, and your sanity in check. My suggestion is to tell people things the moment they happen. Do not wait. Don’t bury it down. Do not hope problems fix themselves. Say how you feel when you feel it. Listen to the other person, take what they say into consideration (that is also a part of communicating) but ultimately TALK ABOUT IT. Do not be afraid. It is the most liberating feeling in the world.
Consistency
To make it to the destination you want to arrive, you must keep heading in that direction (obviously). Sometimes roads get hard, rough, or tiresome, but the only way to get there is to keep going. Why would it be different with our destiny? If you want to learn guitar it will not work unless you keep playing. If you want to get good at soccer you must keep practicing. The key to anything is being consistent. Never give up. Keep going. Time is necessary and your consistency is key. Have fun while you do it, be joyfully patient, and keep on going. You will make it to your destination. I promise.
Growth
Spiritual growth is funny because you can flow with it willingly, or it will drag you forcefully. You can kick and scream all you want but growth is going happen anyway. Some try and stunt growth by suppressing and ignoring it, but, believe it, growth is happening. It is stirring inside them waiting to be let out. My advice is to flow with these sensations, however it may be necessary. Fighting the universe is not a battle you want to get into. Once in a while you just surrender to life around you and beautiful things begin to happen. No more fear of growth, trust that universe cannot harm you, because right now many people are poking themselves from the inside. “Those who fear suffering, suffer from fear.” Be brave. Surrender to your growth, and let it go.
(P.S. Do it joyfully.)
A Product Of Our Environment
The most important thing anyone needs to know is that “you become what you think about.” Every human being on this planet is product of their most dominating thoughts. Likewise, we are constantly picking up data from everything we encounter, whether it be sight, smell, taste, touch, or sound. (Not to mention the extrasensory perceptions.) That is why we become a product of our environments. What is placed in front of us, at anytime, is what we are most likely to think about, consciously or unconsciously. What we see is, on another level, just a thought, and we become what we think about. Therefore, let us all choose who we want to associate with and where we want to associate at. We should always love our friends and never neglect them because they have been there for us so far and are forever our friends, but maybe take the time to ask yourself are the people I associate with going where I want to go, or becoming the same person I wish to become? Take sometime to ask yourself these questions and maybe put yourself in a place that you have never been before. A new environment might be better for WHO YOU ARE or better for WHO YOU WISH TO BE.
Die into the process
If you want to bring your dreams to a reality, the state your are in right now is not going to work. If the state you are in now could work, your dreams, goals, and aspirations would already be here, but it takes growth. We must become something that we are not right now. Beyond growth, we must transform. A wise man once said, “change means that part of the old is still existing, but TRANSFORMATION means that it is completely new, none of the old is still existing.” If you want some new things, feeling, and experiences you must change, but if you want to live a life that you never dreamed possible before you must transform. Only if you die into the process will this happen for you. Change is good, but transformation is better.
